In the realm of weddings, bridesmaid dresses take center stage (next to the wedding dress, of course!). As we navigate through 2024, brides are steering away from tradition, opting for new, modern styles. The biggest takeaway: brides are looking for bridesmaid dresses that don’t actually look like bridesmaid dresses. That’s where we come in. For spring 2024, we created a line of killer dresses that can be worn after the wedding. Here, we sat down with our Senior Designer, Sarah Punter, to break down the biggest bridesmaid trends for 2024.

Go ‘90s

Minimalist ‘90s-inspired bridesmaid dresses have emerged as a front-running trend. The simplicity and ease that defined ‘90s fashion is now making their way into bridal party ensembles. Slip dresses take center stage, with their slinky silhouettes and delicate spaghetti straps. Babydoll dresses, adorned with floral prints or lace details, bring a playful and whimsical vibe to the aisle. The resurgence of minimalist slip-on dresses captures the essence of ‘90s sophistication. Look to our Jennifer Dress, a slinky matte satin asymmetrical style.

Get a Boost

Beyond offering functionality, dresses with corsets are super romantic. Corset detailing adds an element of sophistication and allure to each dress and gives an uber-feminine touch. This classic feature is both versatile and supportive (literally). Corset bridesmaid dresses come in various styles, including with lace-up or button closures. Try our Jessica dress or our Lola, both crafted with boning and cups for extra support.

Touch of Whimsy

Mixing and matching has been one of the biggest trends on the bridesmaid scene. Dreamy patterns bring an eclectic, colorful look to your big day. There’s degrees of mixing prints. You can start by having your MOH in a floral print and the rest of your bridal squad in a solid dress. Or split your bridal crew half and half. Or go bold and style half of your ladies in one print and the remaining in a different floral dress. Our Mira dress in Blue le Fleur is a perfect option, or opt for The Michelle in Sage Spring Garden.

Comfort Redefined

Bid farewell to the constraints of traditional bridesmaid dresses and welcome the comfort of jumpsuits with open arms. Jumpsuits provide bridesmaids the freedom to move with ease and dance with abandon! The practicality of jumpsuits look fabulous and your gals will feel at ease all night long. This season, try the Donna, a jumpsuit with a touch of internal boning and cowl neck for a flattering fit, launching later this week!

Romantic Ruffles

Touches of delicate embroidery are making a comeback in bridesmaid dress designs. Take ruffles for instance. Whether it's subtle or full embroidery accents, these details add a touch of femininity to the overall look. Turn to our Ginny dress, a style with three ruffle tiers at the hem and around the neck, or The Joyce for a fully feminine look.
