Beautiful Dress

This was a beautiful dress, keep in mind. It takes a while to arrive once you order it. I will say that, maybe due to it being a light color and the chiffon material, the bottom half of the dress was see-through. For that reason I will be returning it. But I am excited to order a dress in the same color That is a different material from this website.

Use the Largest Measurement in the Size Chart; Runs Slightly Large

I ordered two different quick-ship dresses in size Large to see which one would work for wedding that is less than 2 weeks away. I was nervous after reading the reviews stating the dress ran small. I am reasonably well-endowed, with a wide rib cage and broad shoulders, so I went by the largest measurement in the size chart. Because the wedding is scheduled so soon, I just needed to make sure I had a dress that zipped without pulling at the seams, and with a reasonable neckline that wouldn't cause any malfunctions. It's definitely roomy and comfortable, and I don't think I'll need to wear anything more than a thin bandeau/bodysuit. The fabric is well-lined and there is some boning that runs vertically at the front for support/structure. It runs true to the size chart, if not slightly large. I'll have to use the provided straps because I doubt it would stay up on its own without alterations. Ultimately, it's a very pretty and universally flattering dress. I think the quality is more than reasonable for the price and the last-minute availability. I haven't yet decided which dress to wear and which to return, because they've both exceeded my expectations. I'm leaning toward this dress, though. I'm very pleasantly surprised with the shape and the fit, and I don't feel like I'm being engulfed by fabric! My measurements are approximately: 5'2.5" 125-130 lbs 38.5"-28"-38" and size 32-34DD. When dress shopping, I'm usually a dress size US 10-12 up top, and a size US 6-8 in the waist and hips.
